1. Beginning and Growing a Great Commission Prayer Ministry

Everywhere you look signs point to this fact—God is calling His people to
heartfelt prayer. As believers answer this divine call to prayer, two things
begin to happen. First, God’s people begin to return to Him in revival. Second,
the church begins to be reclaimed as a house of prayer for all the nations
(see Mark 11:17). A Great Commission Prayer Ministry will provide a way for
churches to become houses of prayer with a passion for the lost. To learn more

2. Start a Group for Single Moms

If you are a single mom, talk to your church about providing child care so you
can start a Bible Study for single moms. You can use a book called, Peacemaking
for Women. This can be done after church on Sunday nights, during Sunday School,
or any other time during the week when the moms can get together! Just think about
the resources you will find in a group like this!!!! Let your vision statement come
from Acts 2:46-47.

3. Singles Sunday Nights

Start a Singles Sunday Nights group and open it to all singles in your area
inviting them to join you. Talk with your church staff about ways to promote your
group. Also, you might talk to someone in your church that would be willing to open
their home to host the group. There are a lot of possibilities. Talk it up in your
church, at work, and everywhere. Don’t wait! Do this TODAY!

4. Get Involved in Missions Locally, Mexico, Africa, or Baltimore

Missions, connecting with people through relationships, sharing Christ, or working
with FVBA Is God calling you to go beyond the normal, to reach out to the community
and world? Then missions are the place for YOU! Psalm 46:10 says "Be still or cease
striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be
exalted in the earth."  For many of us, it is a daily struggle to get quiet.  Our
lives are busy from the moment we wake up to the time we lay our head down at night. 
Our desire at FVBA is to help you in your relationship with Christ. More than
anything, we want our lives to exalt God.  It is a journey and if our ministry can

7. Disaster Relief

Fox Valley Baptist Association in cooperation with the North American Mission
Board and the Illinois Baptist State Association leaders has taken the lead in
organizing Southern Baptists to respond to disasters. They contribute manpower,
ministry, and financial help during floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires,
earthquakes, and urban disasters. FVBA uses Disaster Relief donations for meeting
human needs as a priority. While the physical needs of those touched by disaster,
FVBA is also committed to meeting the spiritual needs by sharing the Gospel of
