HOW CAN I HELP? ENCOURAGE

Webster’s Dictionary defines encourage, as to inspire with courage, spirit, or hope. Would you like to be an encourager? On the link below you will find a list of the churches in Fox Valley Baptist Association. These churches need your encouraging words. You can click on the email address or mailing address for each church. Take one minute to bless others and send words of inspiration and hope. As you view the list, pause to pray God’s favor on His Church.

HOW CAN I HELP? BUILD UP

We can find negativity on every corner. Sure, your church will never be perfect. Man may let you down. Why, we aren’t even perfect! Does that shock you? Do we really want God’s blight on us? If not, practice forgiveness, overlook man’s imperfections, look to God who is perfect. Build up HIS church! Allow Him to show His FAVOR upon you!

HOW CAN I HELP, INITIATE

Use those God given gifts and talents and START SOMETHING NEW. Start anything that will be an outreach. Some of the greatest ministries were started by sharing a hobby. If you like fish, pull out all the stops and host a “fishers of men’s” day once a year? If you like to watch the show, “I Love Lucy” and you know others who like to watch it, start a bible study around it! If you can’t find a church home where you feel comfortable, start one! If you love motorcycles, start a small group for cyclists! If you like horses, start an equestrian church! Visit the cowboy church in Cape Girardeau Missouri where you find cowboys traveling for miles to have church in a barn; start one yourself! Ladies, if you like knit or sew, start a small group around it. Mom’s start a small group and take the kids!
