“Missions Matter to people”. Investing in people and communities is not just warm and fuzzy. Missions are about introducing all people everywhere to Jesus Christ. Jesus is PERSON who can transform a life in bondage to a life of freedom.
Work to avoid the common problems of ignorance caused by lack of information, apathy caused by lack of vision and motivation, and competition with other endeavors caused by a failure to set priorities. Integrate missions education into the Sunday School program and other learning environments. Missions education can occur during formal, highly-structured learning experiences, but also informal, low-key learning times. It can occur in the classroom, in a small group, on a lunch date, or on the basketball court. Take advantage of the variety of formal and informal educational channels available to your church.
". . . And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That's why Scripture exclaims, 'A sight to take your breath away! Grand processions of people telling all the good things of God!'"
Here we reach out to the North American Mission Board to share the profiles of selected missionaries that are in the mission field.
Our mission is to build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious students are becoming deeply committed Christians. We accomplish this mission by equipping parents, adults and staff, as well as offering contemporary programs to lead students into a deeply committed faith.
Worship Ministries offer a wide range of opportunities for service, from greeting worshipers to sharing your musical gifts to assisting with audio/visual equipment. Whether you prefer a traditional, contemporary, blended, or other worship style, we have a place for you to serve and glorify God.
